Ryan Corner Wind Farm Background GPG Naturgy Group The wind farm comprises 52 turbines with a total output of approximately 218.4MW. It will connect to the grid via a 132kV overhead transmission circuit to the existing 500kV Tarrone Terminal Station. Construction Update All construction and remediation activity has been completed at the wind farm and along the transmission line. Commissioning has also finished and the wind farm is fully operational. Operations and maintenance activities are conducted from an office complex next to the collector substation with GPG and Vestas personnel on site daily. Post construction noise recording has commenced and will continue for approximately 12 months, the pest and weed management program is ongoing and the bat and avifauna monitoring is progressing to the requirements of the endorsed management plan. Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing The Ryan Corner Community Engagement Committee will reconvene in 2025. Moyne Shire Council has called for nominations to form a new committee, all committees are reviewed in line with the Council election period. Minutes from all previous meetings are available on the Moyne Shire web site. The Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plan associated to the project includes a Neighbour Benefit Program, that has been successfully implemented and a Community Grant Program that is commencing in 2025. A local committee will be formed, and the process for applying for a grant and allocating the funds to successful applicants will be decided by this committee. An Off Site Landscape Program has been offered to eligible residences within 4km of an operating wind turbine.
