Corner Ryan Wind Farm GPG Naturgy Group Background The wind farm comprises 52 turbines with a total output of approximately 218.4MW. It will connect to the grid via a 132kV overhead transmission circuit to the existing 500kV Tarrone Terminal Station. All permits and management plans have been endorsed for the wind farm, the Tarrone North terminal station and the connecting transmission line and are available on the web site at www.ryancornerwindfarm.globalpower-generation.com.au/the-project/relevant-documentation/. Construction Update 48 turbine foundations, or 92%, have been poured to date. The remaining 4 foundations are underway and progressing towards the final concrete pours in the coming weeks. Construction works at the 132kV yard of the new Collector Sub Station at the Ryan Corner Wind Farm is completed. In the 33kV yard the Operations and Maintenance building is being fitted out, the warehouse is under construction and the switch room has arrived. The erection of the transmission line poles between the wind farm and the Tarrone terminal station is nearly finished and about half of the stringing between the poles completed. Energisation at the Tarrone terminal station has been finalised. Vestas has moved onto the site and the erection of the turbines has commenced. 4 turbines are completely erected, 2 have had the nacelle placed on and are awaiting the blades and 12 have the first two tower sections in place.
