Ryan Corner Wind Farm Background GPG Naturgy Group The wind farm comprises 52 turbines with a total output of approximately 218.4MW. It will connect to the grid via a 132kV overhead transmission circuit to the existing 500kV Tarrone Terminal Station. All permits and management plans have been endorsed for the wind farm, the Tarrone North terminal station and the connecting transmission line and are available on the web site at www.ryancornerwindfarm.globalpower-generation.com.au/the-project/relevant- documentation/. Construction Update The final turbine components were lifted into place on May 20, a major milestone for the project. The cranes have demobilised from site and moved to their next project. Most of the civil contractors have also left with only a small team completing maintenance and rehabilitation. The hot commissioning and testing stages will soon commence as the wind farm moves closer to operation. Hot commissioning focuses on testing actual power generation and daily functional operation testing. Works at the collector substation are completed with half the wind farm energised and the offices ready to be handed over for the operation teams. Weekly construction updates along with the monthly newsletter can be found on the web site www.ryancornerwindfarm.globalpower-generation.com.au Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing The Ryan Corner Community Engagement Committee (CEC) meets six weekly and is composed of community members, a Moyne Shire councillor and representatives from GPG. The CEC provides valuable feedback from the community to GPGA that is used to decrease the impacts on the community. There are 3 vacancies on the committee, and anyone interested in joining should contact Moyne Shire. Copies of minutes are available on the Moyne Shire web site. The Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plan associated to the project includes a Neighbour Benefit Program, that has been successfully implemented, and a Community Grant Program that will commence once the wind farm is under operation. If you wish to be a member of the committee for the grant program, you can register your interest through www.ryancornerwindfarm@globalpower-genertion.com.au. A landscaping program will also be offered to residences within 4km of an operating wind turbine.
