Ryan Corner Wind Farm Background The wind farm comprises 52 turbines with a total output of approximately 218.4MW. It will connect to the grid via a 132kV overhead transmission circuit to the existing 500kV Tarrone Terminal Station. GPG Naturgy Group All permits and management plans have been endorsed for the wind farm, the Tarrone North terminal station and the connecting transmission line and are available on the web site at www.ryancornerwindfarm.globalpower-generation.com.au/the-project/relevant-documentation/. Construction Update All turbine foundations have been poured and 24 turbines are fully erected. The civil works are completed and the some of the site compound is being demobilised as offices and amenities for the civil contractors are no longer needed. Rehabilitation of the batch plant area has been completed with only the dam remaining to assist with water needs over the summer period. Construction of the collector sub station is progressing. The operations and maintenance buildings are close to completed, the switch room is being fitted out and installation of cabling is underway. Components of the stat com have started to be delivered and the installation will start in the new year. On site cabling to connect the turbines to the sub station is more than 50% completed. Energisation of the transmission line between the wind farm and Tarrone terminal station took place at the beginning of December. The Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plan associated to the project includes a Neighbour Benefit Program already in place and a Community Grant Program that will be implemented once the wind farm is under operation.
