The Local Place opened December 2017 in Koroit and is home to a wonderful variety of locally made items. In fact everything at The Local Place has been made in Southwest Victoria. We have a wide selection of locally made crafts that is constantly changing as we welcome more talented local suppliers to the shop. You will be pleasantly surprised by the variety, quality and personalised friendly customer service offered at The Local Place - Koroit. We are a unique business that supports over 30 local talented people's wears. Situated in the small pleasant town of Koroit, Victoria we are located half way between Port Fairy and Warrnambool. We stock only items that have been made, grown or produced in our local region. From Portland to Timboon our range has grown rapidly since we opened in December 2017 and is constantly evolving. We also run workshops with our local suppliers from card making, basket weaving and crochet. Our produce range includes children's clothing made in Koroit, hand poured soy candles from Cooriemungle, laser cut garden art from Portland, resign products from Timboon just to name a few. We have beautiful knitted items, sewn items, toys, artwork, photography, seasonal products, jams and baked goods and much more. We also made to order on some items.
