About
Colac Secondary College is a rejuvenation of Colac High School and Colac College. The school became one entity on January 1st 2008, but the combined history of both schools is over 140 years. Colac Secondary College provides modern classrooms for the 21st century where each classroom is designed to meet the needs of today’s students. Our school community is arranged into 3 distinct Learning Communities – Year 7 and 8 Community, Year 9 Community and the Year 10, 11 and 12 Community. Each Learning Community provides a safe and stimulating environment in which students learn and work with a core team of teaching and support staff. The design of our new spaces offers the opportunity for teachers to work independently or in teams where the needs of different students can be catered for in different settings and with varied teaching techniques.
