Dan Tehan was first elected as the Federal Member for Wannon in 2010. Having spent nearly a decade in the Australian Parliament, Dan has established a reputation as a passionate advocate for his local community as well as achieving outcomes for rural and regional communities. Dan’s education, personal experience and career have given him a real understanding of the needs of people living in our region. Importantly, it has also taught him how to get the action to address these needs. Dan’s achievements have a direct impact on our communities: like reducing the level of regulation on small businesses, assisting farmers in selling their goods overseas and improving the standard of mobile phone and internet services in country areas.
